During 60 minutes of main time teams exchanged with one scored goal from each side. Vityaz made it with rebound shot by Ivan Vorobyov in the middle of 1st period and Torpedo answered 20 minutes later: goal was scored by Vladislav Firstov - 1:1.
After drawn result game turned to overtime and penalty shootout. Goals by Ilya Chefanov and Nikita Tertyshny and deciding one by Dmitry Kagarlitsky brought success to Torpedo.
