Having 2 goals deficit against Admiral, Torpedo finished game in Vladivostok with victory – 4:2 (0:1, 1:2, 2:0).
Game started with a quick goal by Admiral. Yegor Petukhov used powerplay and made the lead for his team. “Torpedo” reacted correctly to the situation, and moved the game into the opponent's zone. Nizhny Novgorod had a big advantage in shots (34:9) and shots on goal (15:6). Also three times Torpedo had an opportunity to realize the powerplay. But the puck didn't find it’s place inside the net.
At the start of the second period, the home team doubled their lead: Daniil Gutik scored after assist from from behind the goal by Stepan Skvortsov - 2:0. And again, as in the opening twenty minutes, Nizhny Novgorod moved their opponents to defend. And now the advantage transformed to goals. Kirill Voronin became the hero of the period. Two goals in 4 minutes (one on a penalty kill) brought the teams back to even terms - 2:2. Also in one of goal situation Artyom Misnikov earned his first KHL point.
In the third period, Torpedo continued the way to victory in that game! Dmitry Breus scored the third goal with a shot from the blue line. And couple minutes later, Nikita Artamonov called another round of applause from away fans, when increased the lead - 4:2! “Admiral” fought to the last, replacing the goalie with an extra field player. But Ivan Kulbakov stopped all threats to his possession. “Torpedo” made second victory on the start of away trip!
