Away game with the last Gagarin Cup winner finished for Torpedo with 5:4 victory!
Teams scored 4 goals already during 1st period. Mikhail Abramov, Artyom Misnikov and Nikita Artamonov gave the lead to Torpedo – 3:1. In 2nd period our team increased the lead. 2 goals by Vladislav Firstov and Maxim Letunov were answered only once by Igor Geraskin – 2:3.
3rd period became extremely dramatic and emotional. 2 goals by Dmitry Moiseyev and Vladislav Yeryomenko made the difference minimal. After that Torpedo played a lot of time shorthanded and 2 times – 3 against 5. Finally 47 saves by Ivan Bocharov and 34 blocked shots by field players helped Torpedo to keep the victory.
